Gunman sought in gas station hold-ups

An un­known gun­man held up the same Far North­east gas sta­tion twice in less than a week.

Po­lice seek the pub­lic’s help in identi­fy­ing the rob­ber. The ini­tial crime oc­curred at about 10:28 a.m. on Jan. 11 at Lukoil, 12001 Roosevelt Blvd., po­lice said. The crook entered the busi­ness, poin­ted a gun at an em­ploy­ee and de­man­ded money. The clerk sur­rendered an un­dis­closed amount of cash from the re­gister.

The rob­ber ran in an un­known dir­ec­tion. He was de­scribed as white, 20 years old, 5 feet 3 inches tall and thin with light brown hair, blue eyes and fa­cial hair. He wore a light brown jack­et over a gray hooded sweat­shirt.

A man fit­ting the same de­scrip­tion re­turned to the crime scene on Jan. 16 at about 2:55 p.m. and robbed the place in sim­il­ar fash­ion po­lice said.
