Suspect ID’d, arrested in Mayfair bank robbery

Up­date: On Feb. 26, po­lice an­nounced the ar­rest of Dor­ren Mills in North Phil­adelphia. He has been charged with three bank rob­ber­ies in­clud­ing TD Bank at 6635 Frank­ford Ave. on Feb. 10. He re­mains a sus­pect in ad­di­tion­al rob­ber­ies.

Po­lice and fed­er­al agents have iden­ti­fied a sus­pect in a May­fair bank rob­bery, but they’re still try­ing to find him.

Dor­ren Mills, 43, is re­spons­ible for at least five bank heists since Feb. 10, au­thor­it­ies claim. The crime wave began at TD Bank, 6635 Frank­ford Ave., and con­tin­ued on Feb. 14 at TD Bank, 1726 Wal­nut St.; on Feb. 17 at Wells Fargo Bank, 2005 Mar­ket St.; on Feb. 19 at Cit­izens Bank, 121 City Ave.; and on Feb. 20 at TD Bank, 399 Mar­ket St.

Mills is known by the ali­ases Da­mon Hall, Devon Hall and Dar­ren Mills, po­lice said. He is black, 6 feet 1 inch tall and about 280 pounds. He is con­sidered armed and dan­ger­ous.
