• The Lawncrest Community Action Center opened on Dec. 17 in the trailers at Lawncrest Recreation Center, 6000 Rising Sun Ave. (at Comly Street).

The center is an initiative of Councilwoman Marian Tasco and District Attorney Seth Williams.
