Police have released surveillance video of the hold-up, which occurred at 6614 Frankford Ave. The robber entered the restaurant, approached the cashier’s counter and pointed a handgun at an employee while demanding money, police said. As the cashier began removing bills from the register drawer, the robber “racked” the slide mechanism on the weapon and demanded that the employee, “Hurry up.” The bandit obtained $162 and was last seen fleeing eastbound on Wells Street toward Charles Street.

The robber was described as white, 6 feet 1 inch tall and stocky. He wore a blue long-sleeve shirt, dark jeans, a dark bandana over his face, a blue baseball cap and dark shoes.
