Suspects sought in 7-Eleven robbery

De­tect­ives are try­ing to identi­fy two sus­pects and a wit­ness in the Aug. 13 rob­bery of a 7-El­ev­en in North­wood.

Sur­veil­lance video shows two men as they col­lab­or­ate in the heist, which oc­curred at about 2:54 p.m. at 5259 Ox­ford Ave. One crook can be seen wait­ing at the door while the oth­er enters the store with a hand­gun, jumps over the cash­ier’s counter, strikes an em­ploy­ee in the head and de­mands money. When the em­ploy­ee opens the re­gister, the gun­man grabs the cash. Both rob­bers fled north­bound on Ox­ford Av­en­ue, po­lice said.

The video also de­picts an uniden­ti­fied wo­man pat­ron, who po­lice be­lieve may have in­form­a­tion to fur­ther the in­vest­ig­a­tion.

The gun­man was de­scribed as black, 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a me­di­um build, light brown com­plex­ion, brown eyes and wear­ing a light green full-body gar­ment. He also wore a light green cloth over his face, black pants and black sneak­ers with white stripes. The ac­com­plice was de­scribed as black, stocky, wear­ing a gray hood­ie with light gray stripes, along with light gray sweat­pants.
