Melodime
The Virginia-based, Southern-flavored alternative rock band Melodime will perform tonight, Tuesday, April 22, at the North Star Bar, at 2639 Poplar St. in Fairmount.
The all-ages show will begin at 8 p.m. The band Nelo will also perform.
Melodime consists of Brad Rhodes (vocals/guitar), Sammy Duis (keyboard/bass), Tyler Duis (drums) and Jon Wiley (guitar/background vocals).
The band is touring in support of its latest album, Where the Sinners & the Saints Collide. All proceeds from the album will go to the band’s nonprofit charity, Now I Play Along Too, which gives musical instruments and education to underprivileged children, orphans and victims of disasters locally and around the world.
Melodime plays more than 100 shows per year and will be at New York’s Rockwood Music Hall on Wednesday.
