Rizzo PAL signups 

The Rizzo PAL Cen­ter is of­fer­ing in­struc­tion­al bas­ket­ball for boys and girls ages 6-8, and girls’ in-house bas­ket­ball for ages 9-12. Also, a wiffle­ball league for boys ages 9-13. Sign-ups are Tues­day through Thursday, Sept. 25 and 26, from 4 to 8 p.m.

Fall Fest at Greens­grow

Day of ser­vice at Hack­ett

Scrip­ture study at M.D.G.

‘Bless­ing of the An­im­als’ 

St. Mi­chael’s Luther­an Church will be of­fer­ing a “Bless­ing of the An­im­als” wor­ship ser­vice on Sunday, Oct. 6, at 10 a.m. 

Leashed pets or pets in a con­tain­er can be brought to the church for bless­ing dur­ing this ser­vice.

Oc­to­ber’s Second Sat­urday

Oc­to­ber’s Second Sat­urday in Port Rich­mond will fea­ture a pump­kin art con­test and show­case. Join in on the fun on Oct. 12, from 4 to 8 p.m., on the 3100 block of Rich­mond St., between Al­legheny Av­en­ue and Clear­field St. 

For chil­dren, bring a painted pump­kin to be show­cased on Rich­mond Street the day of the event. 

For adults, bring your cre­at­ively carved pump­kin to be judged in our ‘Best Pump­kin on Rich­mond St.’ con­test.

Pro­grams at Frank Glav­in

Re­gis­tra­tions for all pro­grams are now be­ing ac­cep­ted. En­roll in in­sruc­tion for chil­dren ages 3 and up in tap, jazz bal­let and tum­bling; Tae-Kwon-Do for ages 5 and older, and Zumba for ages 16 and older.

St. Anne’s ‘Coach Bingo’

The last St. Anne’s Coach Bingo, on Sept. 7, was a great suc­cess. The bag for the last game re­tailed at $899. For $30 ad­mis­sion, en­joy snacks, cof­fee and cake while you play bingo for Coach bags.
