2nd Police District
• There were 24 robberies reported in the district, including 19 that occurred in the street at 6300 Oxford Ave. (Aug. 12), 800 Cottman Ave. (Aug. 16), 900 Marcella St. (Aug. 17), 5600 Frontenac St. (Aug. 17), 5800 Castor Ave. (Aug. 17), 5900 Belden St. (Aug. 19), 1600 Unruh Ave. (Aug. 21), 800 Longshore Ave. (Aug. 21), 5600 Miriam Road (Aug. 22), 1200 Alcott St. (Aug. 23), 6600 Castor Ave. (Aug. 13), 5800 Oxford Ave. (Aug. 13), 900 Sanger St. (Aug. 13), 5700 Rising Sun Ave. (Aug. 21), 1100 Knorr St. (Aug. 22), 6300 Large St. (Aug. 23), 900 Levick St. (two on Aug. 24) and Cottman Avenue and Pennway Street (Aug. 22). Other robberies occurred at three businesses at 6400 Oxford Ave. (Aug. 12), 4600 Roosevelt Blvd. (Aug. 19) and 5500 Loretto Ave. (Aug. 23), while two occurred at residences at 1300 Howell St. (Aug. 16) and 500 Anchor St. (Aug. 24).
• Among 17 aggravated assaults reported during the period, 11 occurred in the street at 7200 Lawndale St. (two on Aug. 12), 5900 Castor Ave. (Aug. 16), 900 Hellerman St. (Aug. 16), 4600 Roosevelt Blvd. (Aug. 16), 1400 Hellerman St. (Aug. 21), 5700 Rising Sun Ave. (Aug. 18), 700 Adams Ave. (Aug. 22), 6400 Roosevelt Blvd. (Aug. 15), 900 Marcella St. (Aug. 12) and 6700 Akron St. (Aug. 24). Six additional cases occurred at residences at 6000 Shisler St. (Aug. 21), 5500 N. Hill Creek Drive (Aug. 15), 6900 Oakland St. (two on Aug. 20), 600 Carver St. (Aug. 24) and 600 Benner St. (Aug. 20).
• Thirty burglaries were reported in the district, 28 of which involved residences at 500 W. Hill Creek Drive (Aug. 12), 900 Granite St. (Aug. 13), 7200 Montour St. (Aug. 16), 6600 Eastwood St. (Aug. 16), 7200 Dungan Road (Aug. 20), 1100 Rosalie St. (Aug. 21), 600 Brill St. (Aug. 21), 500 Sanger St. (Aug. 12), 1100 Friendship St. (Aug. 20), 7500 Watson St. (Aug. 24), 1800 Oakmont St. (Aug. 24), 500 Tyson Ave. (Aug. 13), 900 Unruh Ave. (Aug. 14), 6900 Oxford Ave. (Aug. 14), 700 Longshore Ave. (Aug. 21), 500 Comly St. (Aug. 21), 6700 Akron St. (Aug. 23), 1400 Knorr St. (Aug. 23), 800 Foulkrod St. (Aug. 13), 900 Scattergood St. (Aug. 15), 5700 Colgate St. (Aug. 16 and 24), 2000 Vista St. (Aug. 17), 2100 Griffith St. (Aug. 19), 1400 Knorr St. (Aug. 22), 1100 Alcott St. (Aug. 21), 7100 Oxford Ave. (Aug. 23) and 5900 Malta St. (Aug. 13). Burglaries also occurred at a medical facility at 2000 Levick St. (Aug. 21) and an unspecified type of property at 1300 Princeton Ave. (Aug. 12).
• Police took 133 theft reports in the district, including 38 that occurred at businesses, 16 in the street, five at residences and one at a medical facility. There also were 36 auto thefts and 37 thefts from autos during the period.
7th Police District
• Four robberies were reported to police, two of which occurred at residences at 9800 Haldeman Ave. (Aug. 17) and 2000 Michener St. (Aug. 24). Robberies also occurred at a business at 10900 Bustleton Ave. (Aug. 24) and in the street at 2300 Woodward St. (Aug. 14).
• There was one aggravated assault reported in the district. It occurred at a residence at 2300 Tremont St. (Aug. 19).
• Among 17 burglaries reported during the period, 12 involved residences at 1800 Hoffnagle St. (Aug. 24), 1900 Foster St. (Aug. 15), 8000 Summerdale Ave. (Aug. 16), 2300 Stanwood St. (Aug. 16), 1800 Bergen St. (Aug. 19), 2200 Lott Ave. (Aug. 19), 1000 Southampton Road (Aug. 12), 1000 Bloomfield Ave. (Aug. 23), 500 Avon St. (Aug. 16), 700 Sanford St. (Aug. 20), 9400 Evans St. (Aug. 20) and 8800 Krewstown Road (Aug. 17). Another two burglaries involved businesses at 2000 Grant Ave. (Aug. 20) and 11500 Roosevelt Blvd. (Aug. 12), while others occurred at a school at 1000 Byberry Road (Aug. 19), a recreation facility at 1400 Southampton Road (Aug. 23) and an unspecified type of property at 1900 Welsh Road (Aug. 12).
• Forty-four thefts were reported to police in the district, including 11 that occurred at businesses, 11 in the street and two at residences, along with four auto thefts and 16 thefts from autos.
8th Police District
• There were eight robberies reported in the district, including four that occurred in the street at 2900 Comly Road (Aug. 16), 9500 Academy Road (Aug. 14), 2800 Holme Ave. (Aug. 17) and an unspecified block of Knights Road (Aug. 19). Robberies also occurred at two residences at 8200 Frankford Ave. (Aug. 14) and 9100 Ryerson Road (Aug. 16), as well as a business at 3200 Byberry Road (Aug. 18) and a bank at 8900 Frankford Ave. (Aug. 12).
• Five aggravated assaults were reported during the period, four of which occurred in the street at 9700 Roosevelt Blvd. (Aug. 18), 11600 Academy Road (two on Aug. 16) and 2800 Welsh Road (Aug. 16). One other case was reported at a city prison at 7900 State Road (Aug. 18).
• Among eight burglaries reported to police, six involved residences at 8000 Rowland Ave. (Aug. 19), 9200 Blue Grass Road (Aug. 16), 2800 Holme Ave. (Aug. 15), 8700 Frankford Ave. (Aug. 23), 3800 Violet Drive (Aug. 13) and 200 Dimarco Drive (Aug. 20), while one occurred at a business at 12000 Roosevelt Blvd. (Aug. 13) and one at an unspecified type of property at 10400 Drummond Road (Aug. 23).
• There were 66 thefts reported during the period, including 21 that occurred at businesses, six at residences, five in the street, one at a school and one at a medical facility, along with 11 auto thefts and 21 thefts from autos.
15th Police District
• Police received 19 robbery reports during the period, 13 of which occurred in the street at 6400 Keystone St. (Aug. 13), 4800 Frankford Ave. (Aug. 15), 1900 Lardner St. (Aug. 17), 4700 Frankford Ave. (Aug. 20), 1200 Sanger St. (Aug. 22), 4600 Richmond St. (Aug. 23), 6400 Sackett St. (Aug. 24), Benner and Oakland streets (Aug. 25), 5200 Fairmount Ave. (Aug. 23), 6000 Harbison Ave. (Aug. 24), 7200 Torresdale Ave. (Aug. 12), 1400 E. Cheltenham Ave. (Aug. 13) and 5200 Frankford Ave. (Aug. 24). Robberies also occurred at four businesses at 1600 Bridge St. (Aug. 13), 4600 Torresdale Ave. (Aug. 15), 4500 Castor Ave. (Aug. 14) and 4300 Richmond St. (Aug. 24), as well as two residences at 6900 Keystone St. (Aug. 16) and 6600 Edmund St. (Aug. 24).
• There were 21 aggravated assaults reported to police, including 12 that occurred in the street at 4700 Vista St. (Aug. 15), 1900 Devereaux Ave. (Aug. 12), 1500 Orthodox St. (Aug. 19), 4500 Ditman St. (Aug. 21), 1600 Bridge St. (Aug. 21), 5000 Jackson St. (Aug. 22), 4500 Marple St. (Aug. 16), 5400 Discher St. (Aug. 18), 4600 Comly St. (Aug. 18), 2000 Carver St. (Aug. 15) and 2000 Anchor St. (Aug. 18). Nine more cases were reported at residences at 3400 Hartel Ave. (Aug. 18), 4200 Salmon St. (Aug. 16), 6300 Ditman St. (Aug. 23), 1500 Church St. (Aug. 18), 5100 Jackson St. (Aug. 21), 5300 Lesher St. (Aug. 22), 5400 Charles St. (Aug. 12), 6000 Frankford Ave. (Aug. 15) and 5100 Ditman St. (Aug. 18).
• Among 29 burglaries reported in the district, 26 involved residences at 5200 Whitaker Ave. (Aug. 12), 2900 Hale St. (Aug. 13), 4700 Vista St. (Aug. 15), 4200 Knorr St. (Aug. 17), 7900 Brous Ave. (Aug. 21), 2000 Rosalie St. (Aug. 13), 3400 Brighton St. (Aug. 16), 4600 Penn St. (Aug. 15), 5400 Harbison Ave. (Aug. 12), 4800 Garden St. (Aug. 14), 5100 Walker St. (Aug. 15), 2000 Sanger St. (Aug. 18), 4600 Hartel Ave. (Aug. 18), 6300 Glenloch St. (Aug. 20), 5100 Pennway St. (Aug. 20), 2000 Rosalie St. (Aug. 21), 4300 Waln St. (Aug. 13), 4700 Oakland St. (Aug. 14), 3200 Wellington St. (Aug. 21), 6000 Edmund St. (Aug. 19), 7100 Frankford Ave. (Aug. 14), 4200 Aldine St. (Aug. 21), 1900 Bridge St. (Aug. 22), 1400 Alcott St. (Aug. 22), 1100 Kenwyn St. (Aug. 15) and 1100 Bridge St. (Aug. 16). • There were 149 thefts reported during the period, including 36 that occurred in the street, 21 at businesses, 11 at residences, one at a place of worship, one at a public transit facility and one at a medical facility, as well as 29 auto thefts and 49 thefts from autos. ••
