Sweet as Honey
Honey is a beautiful pit bull mix with soulful golden eyes who came to Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave., as a stray. Her tag number is A20757479.
The 60-pound former mom is a sweet, kid-friendly dog who loves to play with tennis balls. She is house-trained and walks great on a leash. She knows some basic commands such as sit, down and give.
Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••
Heidi needs a home
Heidi is a sweet little gal who is happy to be inside this chilly fall season. She is in foster care with Northeast Animal Rescue.
The 5-month-old cat was found outside, alone, trying to work her way into a colony of cats and their food bowls when she was rescued. She is great with other animals and kids. She loves to snuggle and help her human friends watch TV or read a book.
Heidi is spayed and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.

Not one but Two-Socks
Two-Socks is an adorable blue and white kitten who was found starving and orphaned at only 2 weeks old. He is in foster care via Forgotten Cats.
The cat is super sweet and playful and enjoys playing with kids, adults, dogs and other kitties.
Two-Socks is neutered and vaccinated, and has tested negative for the leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.
