On Sat­urday, Oct. 19, Street Glit­ter Gal­lery, 306 E. Gir­ard Ave. cel­eb­rated its grand open­ing on the av­en­ue with live mu­sic, cir­cus per­formers and a live pod­cast. The gal­lery’s co-own­er, Ca­sey Lynch, aid the goal at Street Glit­ter is to bring un­dis­covered artists to the mar­ket place and to en­able as many of those artists as pos­sible to sup­port them­selves by cre­at­ing their work.
 
The gal­lery was formerly Push Skate­boards, and Lynch, along with co-own­er Tami Hor­vath took over the ace in part­ner­ship with Push own­er/artist Vic­tor Perez. The tore car­ries arts and prints, jew­elry, culp­ture, an­tique items and up-cycled kate­board lamps and fur­niture.
