On Saturday, Oct. 19, Street Glitter Gallery, 306 E. Girard Ave. celebrated its grand opening on the avenue with live music, circus performers and a live podcast. The gallery’s co-owner, Casey Lynch, aid the goal at Street Glitter is to bring undiscovered artists to the market place and to enable as many of those artists as possible to support themselves by creating their work.
The gallery was formerly Push Skateboards, and Lynch, along with co-owner Tami Horvath took over the ace in partnership with Push owner/artist Victor Perez. The tore carries arts and prints, jewelry, culpture, antique items and up-cycled kateboard lamps and furniture.
