Sid needs a new best friend

Sid is a distinguished older gentleman with handsome white whiskers. He’s in the care of Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave.

The dog is a trim 45 pounds, making him the perfect size for just about any comfy sofa.

His favorite food is string cheese, and his favorite pastimes include sun bathing, channel surfing and snuggling with friends.

Sid can be calm when it’s movie night, but still pumped for a hike the next morning. He also tries to do all of his bathroom business outside.

Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••
