Rhawnhurst girl to sell charitable bracelets

Cer­ena O’Neill, a 10-year-old Rhawn­hurst girl who sells brace­lets and T-shirts to raise money for char­ity, will be at­tend­ing two up­com­ing craft shows.

Cer­ena, a fourth-grader at Re­sur­rec­tion of Our Lord Re­gion­al School, will be at Fath­er Judge High School on Sat­urday, Oct. 19, and St. Hubert on Sat­urday, Oct. 26.

The show at Judge, loc­ated at 3301 Solly Ave. in Holmes­burg, runs from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.The show at St. Hubert will go from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the cafet­er­ia. The en­trance is at Bleigh Av­en­ue and Dit­man Street.

Cer­ena began rais­ing money for good causes last year after see­ing a tele­vi­sion com­mer­cial for St. Jude Chil­dren’s Re­search Hos­pit­al in Mem­ph­is.

The money she raises has gone to St. Jude, the Susan G. Ko­men Found­a­tion, the Vari­ety Club and char­it­ies be­ne­fit­ing the fight against aut­ism, lupus, pan­cre­at­ic can­cer and oth­er can­cers.
