Wesley Enhanced Living, a nonprofit, faith-based organization that owns and manages multiple continuing-care retirement communities in Bucks, Monroe, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties, announced the appointment of Maria Zeltner as administrator at Wesley Enhanced Living Pennypack Park.
In her new role, Zeltner will assist WEL in expanding its partnerships with local hospitals and doctors to develop new ideas and initiatives to reduce hospital re-admissions by WEL’s residents.
In addition, Zeltner will manage and oversee the on-site care and services provided to maintain the highest practicable physical, mental and psycho-social well-being of the residents in the rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility.
Zeltner has worked in the healthcare industry for more than 25 years specializing in long-term care and sub-acute environments. She entered the health-care field as a registered nurse.
“We are excited that Maria Zeltner has decided to join our continuing care retirement community as our new administrator,” said John Ardente, executive director of Wesley Enhanced Living Pennypack Park. “Maria will be a valuable contributor to Wesley Enhanced Living’s mission to make a compelling difference in the lives of our residents by providing excellence and innovation in aging services.”
