New administrator at Pennypack Park Wesley facility

Wes­ley En­hanced Liv­ing, a non­profit, faith-based or­gan­iz­a­tion that owns and man­ages mul­tiple con­tinu­ing-care re­tire­ment com­munit­ies in Bucks, Mon­roe, Mont­gomery and Phil­adelphia counties, an­nounced the ap­point­ment of Maria Zelt­ner as ad­min­is­trat­or at Wes­ley En­hanced Liv­ing Pennypack Park.

In her new role, Zelt­ner will as­sist WEL in ex­pand­ing its part­ner­ships with loc­al hos­pit­als and doc­tors to de­vel­op new ideas and ini­ti­at­ives to re­duce hos­pit­al re-ad­mis­sions by WEL’s res­id­ents. 

In ad­di­tion, Zelt­ner will man­age and over­see the on-site care and ser­vices provided to main­tain the highest prac­tic­able phys­ic­al, men­tal and psy­cho-so­cial well-be­ing of the res­id­ents in the re­hab­il­it­a­tion and skilled nurs­ing fa­cil­ity.

Zelt­ner has worked in the health­care in­dustry for more than 25 years spe­cial­iz­ing in long-term care and sub-acute en­vir­on­ments. She entered the health-care field as a re­gistered nurse.

“We are ex­cited that Maria Zelt­ner has de­cided to join our con­tinu­ing care re­tire­ment com­munity as our new ad­min­is­trat­or,” said John Ar­dente, ex­ec­ut­ive dir­ect­or of Wes­ley En­hanced Liv­ing Pennypack Park. “Maria will be a valu­able con­trib­ut­or to Wes­ley En­hanced Liv­ing’s mis­sion to make a com­pel­ling dif­fer­ence in the lives of our res­id­ents by provid­ing ex­cel­lence and in­nov­a­tion in aging ser­vices.”
