Local business feeds hundreds of needy families this Thanksgiving

  • Feeding the hungry: Academy Injury and Health Center, at 2808 Southampton Road, organized an effort that provided Thanksgiving meals to about 275 local needy families. The drive concluded on Monday, when Academy Injury and Health Center employees, patients and volunteers joined high school students in boxing and delivering the meals. The company has been coordinating the drive for four years.
