Ring of kindness

  • Philadelphia Police Officer Paul Alminde of Northeast Detectives broke up a burglary ring that involved a pawn shop. He found a Northeast High School class ring that belonged to 92-year-old Donald Michelle who is the oldest living graduate of Northeast High. He found a North­east High School class ring that be­longed to 92-year-old Don­ald Michelle who is the old­est liv­ing gradu­ate of North­east High. The school’s alumni as­so­ci­ation bought the ring from the pawn shop and presen­ted it to Michelle on Nov. 15.
