Ring of kindness

Returning history: Philadelphia Police Officer Paul Alminde of Northeast Detectives broke up a burglary ring that involved a pawn shop. He found a Northeast High School class ring that belonged to 92-year-old Donald Michelle who is the oldest living graduate of Northeast High. The school’s alumni association bought the ring from the pawn shop and presented it to Michelle on Nov. 15.
