Long-term shelter resident Honey needs a home

Honey is a very sweet ex-mama and the longest-term doggie resident of Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave. Her tag number is A20757479.

The dog was a stray and can be shy, but warms up once she is outside and around people who love her. She is 60 pounds, but is easy to walk. The low-key lady has very soulful eyes and is very calm.

Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ull;•

Shana is a gentle girl

Shana is a young ebony British shorthair mix who was found as a homeless stray. She is in foster care via Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control.

The cat is gentle and timid, and needs a patient family to give her time to adjust in a loving home. She enjoys the company of other kitties.

Shana is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.

Eden loves to snuggle

Eden is a beautiful, laid-back young lady who was rescued from the cold city streets. She was flea infested and starving, but is now in the care of Northeast Animal Rescue.

Now that she is warm, safe and parasite free, she has gained weight, and her fur is glossy and smooth instead of dull and coarse. She prefers laps to chaos, and would do well in a calm household.

Eden, 3, is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccines, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
