Fatal motorcycle crash in Mayfair

A Mayfair man was killed last week in a motorcycle crash about four blocks from his home.

Goodroe was riding a 2001 Honda northbound on Harbison when a southbound car began turning left onto Robbins. When the motorcycle struck the 2001 Infinity, Goodroe was thrown into the street. He suffered fatal head injuries and died at the scene.

Police Chief Inspector Scott Small reportedly said that Goodroe was not wearing a helmet.

Both vehicles had green lights, police said. No charges were filed. An investigation continues. ••
