Bridesburg Historical Society to meet
The next meeting of the Bridesburg Historical Society will be held tonight at 7:30 p.m., at All Saints Marian Hall, on the northwest corner of Edgemont and Buckius streets.

Girls’ anti-bullying workshop
Girls ages 10-18 from Philadelphia and surrounding areas are invited to attend D.I.V.A Academy: “My BFF,” a free anti-bullying event on Saturday, May 18 at Calvary Christian Church, 6000 Large St. The workshop, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., will address the growing problem of bullying amongst girls. The Norris Square Civic Association will offer free tax preparation services on Tuesday, May 14 from noon to 6 p.m. at 174 W. Diamond St. You must call 215-634-7245 to make an appointment. Please bring a social security card, a photo ID, income tax forms, a voided check for Direct Deposit, form 1098 tuition statement if applicable and childcare or daycare expense statements. Fishtown Tots Preschool Program
Preschool at Fishtown Recreation Center registration days for the 2013/14 school year are tonight from 6 to 7:30 p.m., and Wednesday, May 15, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Class for 3-year-olds: child should be three by September 1; classes held Tuesdays and Wednesdays 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Class for 4-year-olds: child should be four by September 1; classes held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30 to 11 a.m.

Trenton Ave Arts Fest and Sculpture Derby
The Trenton Avenue Arts festival, with over 200 crafts and food vendors, will take place from 12 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, at Trenton Avenue and Norris Street.
