Starboard Side Gallery grand opening

Beef-and-beer for Alex’s Lemonade Stand
A charitable dinner is being organized by Brianna Roccia on Friday, May 3, from 9 to 11 p.m., with all proceeds going to Alex’s Lemonade Stand foundation, a group that funds research into curing childhood cancer.

Greensgrow Spring Crafts Fair
Enjoy the atmosphere of the farmstand and the nursery while getting your Mother’s Day gifts from Greensgrow’s talented array of local artists and craft vendors on Saturday, May 4, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

FNA Zoning Committee to meet
The Fishtown Neighbors Association’s Zoning Committee will hear three zoning proposals on Tuesday, May 7, from 7 to 8 p.m., at the Fishtown Rec. Center, 1202 E. Montgomery Ave.
The proposals are: 1520 Frankford Ave - a proposal for a commercial retail space on the first floor. 529 E Girard Ave - a proposal for outdoor sidewalk seating. 412-24 Moyer St. A proposal for 14 three-story single-family homes with off-street parking and roof decks on an industrial lot.

Bridesburg Historical Society to meet
The next meeting of the Bridesburg Historical Society will be held on Wednesday, May 8, at 7:30 p.m. at All Saints Marian Hall, on the northwest corner of Edgemont and Buckius streets.
