Fatal shooting in Frankford

A Frankford man was killed in a hail of gunfire on a Frankford block late Monday as three robbers reportedly tried to invade the home of a couple and several children. Shortly after 10 p.m., three gunmen showed up at a home on the 5700 block of Leonard St. and tried to force their way inside. It’s not clear what prompted the gunfire. 


Harris gets 20 to 40 years for dog droppings killing

Tyrirk Harris had a problem curbing his pets, but a Philadelphia judge had no problem curbing Harris, the Tacony man who killed a neighbor last year in a dispute over dog droppings.
