Girl is a cute, 1- to 2-year-old terrier pit bull mix who is at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave. Her tag number is A19168517.

The medium-sized dog is brindle and white, weighs 40 pounds and has awesome ears. She has some hair loss and is a former mother, but has a fun personality. She is silly and happy, likes attention and enjoys kissing and rubbing herself on people.

Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••

Precious loves to play

Precious is a stunning 5-year-old brown Maine Coon mix with the fluffiest tail ever. She is in foster care via Forgotten Cats.

The cat is independent, but enjoys attention, brushing and playtime. She prefers a home without kids or pets.

Precious is spayed and vaccinated, and has tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.

Cash needs a new best friend

The handsome 15-month-old cat can be shy at first, but his winning personality will eventually shine through.

Cash is neutered, current on vaccinations and microchipped, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
