The Parkwood Civic Association is looking to grow — in membership and by lending a hand in starting a community garden.

Applications are being taken for Philly police recruits

Spring Cleanup is April 13

The city has scheduled its sixth annual Philly Spring Cleanup for Saturday, April 13. City residents and organizations can become involved by registering a project site for cleanup or by volunteering on April 13. Pennypack Park cleanup a success

Forty-four volunteers collected 78 bags of trash and other large debris last Saturday during the Friends of Pennypack Park’s first monthly clean-up of 2013.
