Port Rich­mond Ti­gers’ car­ni­val
The Ti­gers’ car­ni­val runs through East­er Sunday, March 31, at the old North­east Hos­pit­al park­ing lot, Tulip Street and Al­legheny Av­en­ue. Weekly ride passes are avail­able. The Fishtown Neigh­bors As­so­ci­ation’s Beau­ti­fic­a­tion Com­mit­tee will meet Thursday, March 28, at the Fishtown Rec. Cen­ter, 1201 E. Mont­gomery Ave., at 6:30 p.m. FNA’s Zon­ing Com­mit­tee will meet Tues­day, April 2 at 7 p.m. at the Fishtown Rec. Cen­ter, 1202 E. Mont­gomery Ave., re­gard­ing 1600 Frank­ford Ave. to dis­cuss a pro­pos­al for a caf&ea­cute;/res­taur­ant. The Zon­ing Com­mit­tee will also meet on Monday, April 8 at 6:30 p.m. re­gard­ing the Wynn casino pro­pos­al. This meet­ing will take place at First Pres­by­teri­an Church, 418 E. Gir­ard Ave.  ••

PRO­PAC (Port Rich­mond on Patrol and Civic) and PRTW (Port Rich­mond Town Watch) will hold its monthly meet­ing on Thursday, April 4. 
All meet­ings be­gin at 7 p.m. at Samuel’s Re­cre­ation Cen­ter,  Gaul and Tioga streets. Meet­ings are now held the first Thursday of every month. ••

NK­CDC tree giveaway
The New Kens­ing­ton Com­munity De­vel­op­ment Cor­por­a­tion’s (NK­CDC) yard tree giveaway will be on Sunday April 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at NK­CDC’s Garden Cen­ter, 1825 Frank­ford Ave. Phil­adelphia res­id­en­tial prop­erty own­ers can re­quest up to two trees and com­munity groups that own large private prop­er­ties with com­munity ac­cess can re­gister for up to 10 trees. ••

Cione Play­ground events
Sign up at Cione Play­ground, Ara­mingo and Le­high av­en­ues, for the fol­low­ing events: spring soc­cer for boys and girls, Sat­urdays through May 18; ages 4 to 6 at 10 a.m., and ages 6 to 8 at 11 a.m. Re­gis­tra­tion is $2. Sum­mer camp: boys and girls ages 5 to 12; runs from June 24 to Aug. 16, Monday through Fri­day,  9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Camp in­cludes swim­ming, arts and crafts, games, read­ing, trips and more.
