PRO­PAC and PRTW to meet
PRO­PAC (Port Rich­mond on Patrol and Civic) and PRTW (Port Rich­mond Town Watch) will hold its monthly meet­ing on Thursday, June 6. All meet­ings be­gin at 7pm at Samuel’s Re­cre­ation Cen­ter, Gaul & Tioga Streets. There will be a zon­ing is­sue and present­a­tion plus an up­date on the old ware­house at Rich­mond and Schiller. ••

St. George Par­ish sum­mer bazaar
The St. George an­nu­al bazaar will be held June 6, 7, and 8 and 13, 14, 15, Thursday through Sat­urday both weeks, be­gin­ning each night at 7 p.m. and run­ning through the even­ing. Homemade foods will be avail­able, with kit­chen spe­cials each night and a beer garden.
Mum­mers will be join­ing the fest­iv­it­ies for Alumni Night on June 7, with DJs play­ing on vari­ous nights. Loc­a­tion: Saint George’s Par­ish, 2700 E. Ven­ango St. ••

Kon­rad Square flea mar­ket on Sat­urdays
The Friends of Kon­rad Square will host a flea mar­ket on the fol­low­ing Sat­urdays: June 8 and June 22 at Tulip and Dauph­in streets, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Any­one in­ter­ested in rent­ing a space should call Vicky at 215-426-9654. ••

Vendy Awards at Penn Treaty Park
The Vendy Awards will take place on Sat­urday, June 8, from 2 to 6 p.m. in Penn Treaty Park. The best street food vendors in the city will com­pete in a cook-off. Tick­ets are $55, $35 for kids. Brides­burg His­tor­ic­al So­ci­ety to meet
The next meet­ing of the Brides­burg His­tor­ic­al So­ci­ety will be held on Wed­nes­day, June 12, at 7:30 p.m. at All Saints Mari­an Hall, on the north­w­est corner of Ed­ge­mont and Bucki­us streets. Teresa Pyott will take you on “An Ol­fact­ory Tour of Olde Brides­burg.” Join in on re­mem­ber­ing what it was like to live in an in­dus­tri­al neigh­bor­hood, en­dur­ing the smells and smogs of yes­teryear. Han­cock Rec. sum­mer day camp
Han­cock Re­cre­ation Cen­ter is cur­rently ac­cept­ing ap­plic­a­tions for its Sum­mer Day Camp 2013, for ages 5 to 12.  Camp will be­gin Monday, Ju­ly 1 through Au­gust 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Break­fast and lunch will be served.Games, arts and crafts, weekly trips, swim­ming and much more will be avail­able. Penn Treaty Park events
The Friends of Penn Treaty Park in­vite you to Movie In The Park night on Wed­nes­day, June 12, at 7 p.m., to see “Thun­der­struck.” This film is rated PG, so bring the en­tire fam­ily to this story of about a bas­ket­ball star who switches tal­ent with a klutzy 16-year-old fan. Port­side Arts Cen­ter Si­lent Auc­tion
You’re in­vited to at­tend Port­side Arts Cen­ter’s si­lent art auc­tion Fri­day, June 14, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Gi­ant Steps Gal­lery, 229 S. 20th St. This fun­draiser will sup­port Por­side’s Mo­bile Arts Ini­ti­at­ive bus; Port­side has de­signed a lay­out which con­verts a 40-foot SEPTA bus in­to a mo­bile arts classroom. The auc­tion will fea­ture art work from Port­side’s tal­en­ted stu­dents and teach­ers. ••

Amer­ic­an Le­gion Aux­il­i­ary flea mar­ket and bake sale
The Aux­il­i­ary will spon­sor a flea mar­ket and bake sale on Sat­urday, June 15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. around the out­side peri­met­er of Palmer Cemetery. Table spaces are $8. The 3rd An­nu­al Fishtown Men’s Soft­ball Clas­sic
All Former Fishtown A.C. soft­ball league play­ers are in­vited to the 3rd An­nu­al Fishtown Soft­ball Clas­sic on Sat­urday, June 15, from noon un­til 7 p.m. at Het­zell’s Field, Thompson Street and Columbia Av­en­ue. The cost is $25 per play­er, which in­cludes a game shirt, food, and drink. There will be two games, the first for the 50 and over guys, fol­lowed by the 30 to 49 year-olds. Flap­jack fun­draiser for Aut­ism Speaks
Come help sup­port Aut­ism Speaks and eat un­lim­ited pan­cakes at the same time. Adults cost $7, kids cost $5. Kids sum­mer pro­grams at Brides­burg Rec
Kinder Kamp be­gins June 25 for boys and girls aged 2, 3, and 4 years old as of Sept. 1, 2013. Camp is from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Cost: $110 for two four-week ses­sions. Day camp/ex­ten­ded camp for boys and girls, kinder­garten through 6th grade (young­er than 12), will be offered from Monday, Ju­ly 22 to Fri­day, Au­gust 16, Monday through Fri­day.
