Happy Ivy is always smiling

This gorgeous little lady is Ivy. She is a very happy, medium-energy 4-year-old girl who was recently surrendered to Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave. Her tag number is A27779159.

Ivy’s previous family noted that she lived with kids and is crate trained. She was surrendered because she did not get along with other animals.

Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••

Veronica loves sunshine and attention

Veronica is a sweet and talkative cat who enjoys attention and lazy afternoons in sunny windows. She is in the care of Northeast Animal Rescue.

Originally rescued as a new mom during Hurricane Sandy, Veronica has watched her babies grow up and get homes of their own. Veronica does not care for other cats or dogs. She would prefer to be the only pet.

Veronica, 4, is spayed, current on vaccinations and microchipped, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses. For information, visit nar.rescuegroups.org ••
