Two teens vandalize 31 school buses

Two uniden­ti­fied teen­agers slipped in­to a North­east school bus de­pot and smashed win­dows on 31 of the bright yel­low buses, po­lice say.

The van­dal­ism oc­curred between 6 and 6:30 p.m. on Sunday at 3801 Wood­haven Road, the site of the former Shallcross School. Ac­cord­ing to a Phil­adelphia po­lice spokes­wo­man, two white boys, each about 15 years old, got in­to the lot through un­locked gates and shattered wind­shields and side win­dows on the pub­lic school buses. They also ripped wind­shield wipers from the vehicles.

The cost of the dam­age is still be­ing cal­cu­lated. Call North­east De­tect­ives at 215-686-3153 to re­port in­form­a­tion about the case. ••
