Bustleton TD Bank robbed

Sur­veil­lance im­age of the sus­pect

A brazen rob­ber burst in­to a Bustleton bank on Thursday af­ter­noon and threatened to “shoot the place up” be­fore flee­ing with an un­dis­closed amount of cash, ac­cord­ing to the Phil­adelphia FBI of­fice.

In­vest­ig­at­ors seek the pub­lic’s help in identi­fy­ing the rob­ber.

The crime oc­curred at 12:48 p.m. at TD Bank, 9996 Hal­de­man Ave. A white man wear­ing a blue fit­ted base­ball cap and a blue, long-sleeve T-shirt  entered the bank, handed a de­mand note to a tell­er and made his verbal threat to the tell­er, who did not see an ac­tu­al weapon. The rob­ber ob­tained cash and fled on foot. He was last seen head­ing south on Hal­de­man Av­en­ue.

The rob­ber was fur­ther de­scribed as about 5 feet 7 inches tall and stocky. He also wore beige pants and black sneak­ers. Call the FBI at 215-418-4000 to re­port in­form­a­tion about the case. ••
