Brotherly love

Perry and Jackson are inseparable 4-year-old tabby brothers who want to share their love with a permanent family. They are in foster care via Forgotten Cats.

Perry is playful and sweet. Jackson is quiet and devoted.

The cats are neutered and vaccinated, and have tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.

Braxton is a sweetheart

Last fall, Braxton was a hungry kitten searching for scraps of food when he was found by the feeder of a feral cat colony. Once Braxton was rescued, he gained weight and returned to good health, and we learned what a perfect gentleman he was — quietly talkative, playful and affectionate, yet calm and relaxed. Even after developing a serious illness and spending a week in the hospital, Braxton always maintained his sweet personality and charm.

Now healthy and fully recovered, 14-month-old Braxton loves to lounge with people or chase his furry mouse toys. Braxton is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.

Maxwell is a lover

Maxwell is a handsome, happy, 57-pound boy who loves hugs.

The adult dog, believed to be a pit terrier mixed with boxer, is at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave. His tag number is A19647828.

Found as a stray, he has long legs and stoic eyes. He loves toys, belly rubs, playing fetch and being petted by kids.

Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••
