Look­ing for the purr-fect home

Donna is a lov­ing and af­fec­tion­ate 2½-year-old cat who loves to curl up on people’s laps and chase a crinkly toy.

She gets along with oth­er cats, dogs and chil­dren. She and her sis­ter were res­cued as kit­tens from an air­plane hangar. Her sis­ter has been ad­op­ted.

Donna is spayed, mi­cro­chipped and cur­rent on vac­cin­a­tions, and her sis­ter has tested neg­at­ive for the fe­line im­mun­ode­fi­ciency and leuk­emia vir­uses.

Dolly needs a new play­mate

Dolly is a 1- to 2-year-old dog who was sur­rendered as a stray in early Janu­ary.

The dog is at Phil­adelphia’s An­im­al Care and Con­trol, at 111 W. Hunt­ing Park Ave.

Dolly loves toys, es­pe­cially rope toys and squeaky toys. 

She is learn­ing how to play fetch and already knows “sit” and oth­er com­mands.

Phil­adelphia’s An­im­al Care and Con­trol ad­op­tion hours are week­days from 1 to 8 p.m. and week­ends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
