Paulette wants a new best friend

Paulette is an adult pit bull mix looking for a new home.

The female dog was found as a stray without her puppies. She’s an easygoing gal who walks great on a leash and is very social and friendly.

Paulette is at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave. Her tag number is A17110748.

Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••

Toribio is a sweetheart

Toribio is a 2-year-old cat who was found living outside after being abandoned. He is in foster care via Forgotten Cats.

Despite his abandonment, he is super sweet and loves hugs, snuggles and cuddles.

Toribio is gentle and wonderful with children, but needs to be the only kitty in his house. He is neutered and vaccinated, and has tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.

Lena needs some love

Lena is a lovely young girl who was rescued from the cold winter streets.

The 3-month-old cat is shy, but bravely coming out of her shell. She enjoys playing with her toys and climbing her scratching tower.

Lena has a lifetime of love to give and is looking for a best friend to provide a permanent home. She is spayed, microchipped and current on all vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
