Mira is sweet and confident

Mira is a 7-month-old tabico who was born without upper eyelids.

A veterinarian performed two surgeries on the cat so she could avoid a lifetime of eye infections, pain and vision loss.

Despite all she’s been through, Mira is sweet and confident. She gets along well with dogs, cats and people.

Mira is spayed and vaccinated, and has tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses. She is in foster care via Forgotten Cats. To apply to adopt Mira, visit www.petfinder.com/shelters/PA586.html or visit the adoption center at the PetSmart at 901 Old York Road in Jenkintown. ••

Brighten your days with Sunny

Sunny is a handsome young man who was abandoned on the streets during the recent frigid weather.

The friendly, 9-month-old cat would do best in a home by himself or with one other cat. He enjoys human company, head scratches and furry mice toys.

Sunny is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.

To adopt Sunny, fill out an application at http://nar.rescuegroups.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=5340780 ••
