See Spot run

Spot is a male terrier mix about a year and a half old who is at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave. His tag number is A21277683.

The dog is snuggly and playful. He gets along well with other high-energy dogs. He is very smart, taking only a day to learn basic commands. He would do best in a home where he would get lots of exercise.

Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••

This Foxy lady loves attention

Foxy is a 3- to 4-year-old blue and white tuxedo kitty who would be a perfect companion for anyone who enjoys a well-mannered girl who enjoys attention and sitting by your side all day.

She prefers to be the only cat, but another well-relaxed kitty should be fine.

Foxy is in foster care via Forgotten Cats. She is spayed and vaccinated, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.

Connor needs a new friend

Connor is a stunning young man who loves his toys, human friends and snuggle time.

Abandoned in a shopping center, he was rescued from dangerous cars and unkind people. He is in the care of Northeast Animal Rescue.

Connor, 4, gets along well with cats and small dogs, but would do best in a home without young children. He’ll need an experienced owner to manage his energy and maintain his gorgeous long black coat.

The cat is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
