Male motorists accost two girls in Northeast

Po­lice are look­ing for two male mo­tor­ists who ac­cos­ted two 15-year-old girls in the North­east last week in what Spe­cial Vic­tims Unit de­tect­ives be­lieve were un­re­lated in­cid­ents.

The latest epis­ode oc­curred on Dec. 4 at 1:20 p.m. The vic­tim told po­lice that she was walk­ing along the 8000 block of Craig St. when an un­known man in a parked green Jeep Liberty ex­posed his gen­it­als to her. The girl fled. She de­scribed the of­fend­er as white and 50 to 60 years old. He wore a striped shirt. The vehicle had a New Jer­sey plate with a par­tial re­gis­tra­tion of “098.”

Two days earli­er, a dif­fer­ent 15-year-old girl was walk­ing along the 1600 block of Bridge St. at about 1 p.m. when an un­known man drove up to her, offered her a ride and told her to enter his van. The vic­tim fled and later de­scribed the of­fend­er as In­di­an or south Asi­an with an In­di­an ac­cent. He is in his 30s and was clean shaven. He was driv­ing a white van, pos­sibly with ice cream decals on the side.
