Mass. man arrested after swiping ambulance in Frankford

A Massachusetts man is under arrest, charged with stealing an ambulance in Frankford, police said.

Officers spotted Austin Rucker, 28, of Dorchester, Mass., behind the wheel of an ambulance on the 4400 block of Frankford Avenue at about 11 p.m. Monday, police said. The officers put on their overhead lights and followed the medical unit until it stopped on the 4600 block of Frankford Avenue, police said.

Rucker was put under arrest and charged with theft and related offenses, police said. No further details were available Tuesday. ••
