Boyhood friend charged in ‘personal’ killing of teen

The fatal shooting of a Somerton teen at a neighborhood construction site on Aug. 19 was even more “personal” than homicide detectives initially imagined.


Pizza recipes squared away

I was planning dinner and thinking about how I could transform some leftover, grilled chicken sausages and bell peppers into another meal. Then it hit me: Pizza! Dinner dilemma solved. I decided to slice the sausages, chop up the peppers, combine them with some mild salsa and cheeses, and use it as a topping for homemade, deep-dish pizza.

Feds nab alleged Mayfair loan sharks

Federal racketeering charges were filed last week against nine alleged bookmakers and loan sharks who conducted their nefarious and sometimes violent business inside several Mayfair shops, authorities said.


Most wanted pharmacy burglar pinched in North Wildwood

Authorities from Philadelphia and North Wildwood have captured a fugitive who was wanted for the burglary of a Northeast pharmacy in May and is considered a “person of interest” in numerous ATM break-ins across the city.
