Recovered body may be Pennypack drowning victim

A body recovered by police from the Delaware River last weekend may be that of a Wissinoming teenager who disappeared while wading in the storm-surging Pennypack Creek on Aug. 13.

A triumphant return

The Fox Chase Town Watch National Night Out was held Aug. 6 after a one-year hiatus. It’s the largest event of its kind in the Northeast, and one of the largest in the city.  


Trying to sort through all that baggage

When my husband and I left on our honeymoon decades ago, we proudly carried the matched luggage that his sister had given us as a gift. The two suitcases were handsome indeed — a strong leather set in pale taupe with shiny locks.
