Hinge Café reopens in Port Richmond

After be­ing closed for more than a month, the pop­u­lar Port Rich­mond din­ing spot re­opened this week to great ex­cite­ment.

After be­ing closed for more than a month and un­der­go­ing a three-week renov­a­tion and re­dec­or­a­tion, Hinge Caf&ea­cute;, at 2652 E. Somer­set St., re-opened at 8 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 12, and was oon serving its first cus­tom­ers break­fast, with items on the menu in­clud­ing break­fast bruschetta, oat­meal cake and a braised kale om­elet.

Si­mone, of Port Rich­mond, said the re­vital­ized Hinge would con­tin­ue bring­ing “fam­ily-friendly com­fort-style” din­ing to the neigh­bor­hood. 

In ad­di­tion to of­fer­ing break­fast and lunch every day from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Hinge will be serving din­ner Fri­days and Sat­urdays from 4 to 10 p.m. – and the lunch menu will be avail­able at din­ner­time, too.
