Peppermint & Paddy

Peppermint and Paddy

Peppermint and Paddy are 7-month-old ebony kittens who were found sick and orphaned on the streets. They are in foster care via Forgotten Cats.

The cats suffered eye infections, leaving Peppermint without her left eye and Paddy with a cloudy right eye.

Both cats are otherwise healthy and want to be adopted together in a quiet, patient home.

The cats are neutered and vaccinated, and have tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.

Effie is a 1- to 2-year-old dog with the sweetest face.

The staff at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave., thinks Effie is a Labrador retriever/terrier mix.

Effie walks well on a harness and loves practicing new tricks and commands. The dog’s favorite pastime is snuggling.

Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••

Kwan is playful and social and loves to be involved in everything his human friends do.

The long-haired boy is handsome, has a cute way of looking at people and prances through the house with his fluffy tail held high. He loves toys and cuddles.

The 6-month-old cat is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations. His mother Veronica has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.

Kwan is at Northeast Animal Rescue, along with his mother and sister Bree.
