FNA Beau­ti­fic­a­tion meets to­night
The Fishtown Neigh­bors As­so­ci­ation’s Beau­ti­fic­a­tion Com­mit­tee will meet to­night at 6:30 at 1202 E. Mont­gomery Ave. The meet­ing is open to all res­id­ents in­ter­ested in keep­ing Fishtown clean. The com­mit­tee will dis­cuss the up­com­ing win­dow plant­er con­test, the “Feed the Fish” garbage can plans, the city cleanup last Sat­urday and the “Second Sat­urday Sweep” ini­ti­at­ive. ••

St Ben­jamin Brew­ery seeks dona­tions
St. Ben­jamin’s Brew­ing Com­pany is in the pro­cess of build­ing a brew­ery and pub on N. 5th St., in the former car­riage house of the Theo Finkenauer Brew­ery, a fully op­er­a­tion­al brew­ery un­til the late 1800’s. The com­pany’s goal is to re­build the facade with his­tor­ic fea­tures to hon­or the rich his­tory of brew­ing in Phil­adelphia. The brew­ery is try­ing to raise $20,000 and has set up a crowd-fund­ing web­site of­fer­ing prizes for sup­port. Vis­it www.luck­y­ant.com/saint­ben­jamins. ••

T-Ball with the Ti­gers
Sign-ups now open for girls and boys ages 4 to 6 for T-ball with the Port Rich­mond Ti­gers. The sea­son is about to start. Sign up at the Ti­gers Club­house, Chath­am and Ann streets, Monday through Fri­day 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., or call Tom Mack for more in­form­a­tion at 215-275-8838. ••

Han­cock bas­ket­ball clin­ic
Han­cock Re­cre­ation Cen­ter, in co­ordin­a­tion with Towey, Nel­son and the 8th and Dia­mond Re­cre­ation Cen­ter will be host­ing a in­tra­mur­al bas­ket­ball league. You must at­tend the Han­cock bas­ket­ball clin­ic to be eli­gible. Han­cock will be se­lect­ing play­ers to play in the league from the kids who join the clin­ic.  The 12 - 14 group starts at 5 p.m. on Tues­days and Wed­nes­days, and the 15 - 18 group starts at 6:30 on the same days. Story Slam at Liberti East

Greens­grow Spring Crafts Fair

If you have win­dow unit air con­di­tion­ers in your first floor win­dows, please take steps to se­cure them and the win­dows.  They can very eas­ily be pushed in.
