The dynamic duo

Harlow and Gavin are two of the sweetest, most affectionate kittens at Northeast Animal Rescue.

The 4-month-old cats will steal your heart with their loud purrs and crazy antics. Born in foster care from two moms rescued from the streets, Harlow, a buff female, and Gavin, an orange/white male, have thrived in the care of NAR. They are ready and waiting for their forever homes.

Harlow and Gavin are both current on vaccinations and have microchips, and have tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.

To adopt Harlow and Gavin, fill out an application at http://nar.rescuegroups.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=4730550 and http://nar.rescuegroups.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=4700745. ••

Have a good night, Irene

Irene is a lovely female terrier/pit bull mix, 1 to 2 years old, and medium in size. She is at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave.

Irene is an explorer and loves being out and about. She comes when called, so she likely had training in the past. She likes toys and she met a few friendly dogs and got along really well with them, so she could probably live in a multi-dog household. She should meet your children under age 10 years and all of your dogs that live in your home, as well.

Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Irene’s tag number is A16982429. ••
