Benefit hockey game this Saturday


A be­ne­fit hockey game will take place on Sat­urday at the Cav­ity Busters Fly­ers Skate Zone for a 6-year-old Park­wood boy.

Thomas Luke Schaf­fer, a first-grader at St. An­selm Ele­ment­ary School, has cyst­ic fibrosis and is in need of a liv­er trans­plant.

The fund-raiser will be­gin at 4:20 p.m., with a game between the Phil­adelphia Po­lice De­part­ment hockey team and the Phil­adelphia Hon­or, a wo­men’s squad.

Af­ter­ward, there will be a block party with games and food.

The Fly­ers Skate Zone is loc­ated at 10990 Dec­atur Road.

Tick­ets cost $10 for each event.
