Video released in Northwood convenience store holdup


Au­thor­it­ies have re­leased sur­veil­lance video of the Sept. 4 armed rob­bery of a North­wood con­veni­ence store in hope of identi­fy­ing the three ban­dits.

The heist oc­curred at 6:40 p.m. at the Neigh­bor­hood Con­veni­ence Store, 1301 Fill­more St. Three rob­bers traveled to the scene in a Honda Civic and parked about a block away on Har­ris­on Street.

The driver re­mained in the car as his two co­horts ap­proached and entered the store. One of the rob­bers stood in the rear of the shop while the oth­er poin­ted a gun at a clerk and de­man­ded money and ci­gar­ettes.

The crooks ob­tained an un­dis­closed amount of cash and smokes, ran back to the get­away car and fled.

The gun­man was de­scribed as black and 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall. He wore a dark hood­ie and dark blue jeans. The lookout was de­scribed as black and 5 feet 5 to 5 feet 8. He wore a dark hood­ie with an em­blem on the front and light blue jeans. No de­scrip­tion is avail­able for the get­away driver.
