Detectives name Northeast’s most wanted (September 12, 2012)

The Philadelphia Police Department’s Northeast Detectives Division is seeking the public’s help in locating the following most-wanted suspects in connection with crimes in the Northeast:

• David Lewis, 20, is wanted for robbery and related offenses.

On June 3 at about 6 p.m., Lewis allegedly robbed another man at gunpoint on the 6600 block of Souder St. The suspect approached the victim and a witness, demanded money and fled with $65 cash, police said.

Lewis is known to frequent the 1300 block of Stirling St. He is black, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

• Kareem Marable, 20, is wanted for robbery and related offenses.

On May 8 at about 10 p.m., Marable allegedly beat and stole $55 cash from a woman acquaintance. The victim met the suspect on the 2900 block of Benner St., but the meeting became an argument. Marable allegedly shoved the woman to the ground and removed cash from her pockets. Marable also “instructed” two other women acquaintances to kick the prone victim repeatedly and threatened to put the victim into a “body bag” before the victim was able to run away, police said.

Marable is known to frequent the 2900 block of Benner St. He is black, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

• Steven Reeve, 20, is wanted for robbery and related offenses.

On July 24 at about 11:53 p.m., Reeve and another man allegedly approached a woman on the 1200 block of Cheltenham Ave., pointed a gun at her and demanded that she surrender her cell phone and her money. They fled with the phone and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Reeve is known to frequent the 5900 block of Loretto Ave. He is black, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

• Alphonso Rome, 22, is wanted for robbery and related offenses.

On March 7 at about 10:40 p.m., a man drove to an apartment complex at Woodhaven and Barbary roads and met Rome, who allegedly pulled a gun on the man and struck him on the head with it, before stealing jewelry and a bottle of prescription pills from the victim.

Rome is also known as “Juvy” and is known to frequent the 3100 block of Woodhaven Road. He is black, 6 feet tall and weighs 175 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. ••
