Hal­loween “Freaky Farm”

Join neigh­bors for a fun Hal­loween at­trac­tion — start­ing Fri­day, Oct. 26 and run­ning through Tues­day, Oct. 30, vis­it the corner of Thompson and Al­bert streets for a walk-through “haunted house” in an old barn, as well as a corn maze and oth­er at­trac­tions.

The at­trac­tion is open from 7 to 9 p.m. each night, and cost is $2, which will be­ne­fit the Sclero­derma Found­a­tion. ••

Philly Zom­bie Fest

Join oth­er un­dead en­thu­si­asts at the Piazza at Schmidt’s in NoLibs for Philly Zom­bie Fest. Stop by from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sat­urday, Oct. 27. Ar­rive decked out in zom­bie fash­ion and makeup, or get “zom­bie-fied” by on-site makeup artists.

En­joy food and drink spe­cials, “brain” eat­ing con­tests, an “ugly pa­geant” and a “scar­i­est scream” con­test. Bands and DJs will en­ter­tain throughout the day, and all ages are wel­come.

This is a free event, but please bring a non­per­ish­able food item to donate to Phil­abund­ance. The Piazza is at 1050 N. Han­cock St. ••

A Penn Treaty Hal­loween

Join the Friends of Penn Treaty Park group on Sat­urday, Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the park, Columbia and Delaware av­en­ues, for a flea mar­ket and Hal­loween activ­it­ies like a pump­kin patch, face paint­ing and candy. For more info, call 215-425-0393. ••

Hal­loween con­test at Brides­burg Re­cre­ation

The Brides­burg Re­cre­ation Cen­ter will host a Hal­loween con­test for boys and girls aged 10 and un­der. Come en­joy trophies, prizes and treats.

The con­test will take place on Sat­urday, Oct. 27 at 2 p.m. at the cen­ter, 4625 Rich­mond St. ••

An­thony’s Hal­loween party

On Sat­urday, Oct. 27, vis­it An­thony’s Caf&ea­cute;, at 319 E. Gir­ard Ave., from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.The bar will of­fer all-you-can-drink do­mest­ic beer for $25 and all-you-can-drink im­por­ted beer for $35. There will also be prizes for best cos­tume. ••

FACT Hal­loween party

FACT (Fishtown Ac­tion) is hav­ing a “make your own sundae” Hal­loween party on Sunday, Oct.  28 at Holy Name Church Hall, 701 Gaul St.

The party is for chil­dren age 10 and un­der. Cos­tumes are wel­come. Doors open at 2 p.m., and cost is $3 per per­son. ••

Hal­loween crafts

The Rich­mond Branch of the Free Lib­rary of Phil­adelphia, at 2987 Al­mond St. will of­fer a Hal­loween craft: on Oct. 30 at 3:45, school-age chil­dren can join Miss Sheila to make a Hal­loween friend­ship pin. ••

Liberti Church cel­eb­ra­tion

Liberti Church at 2424 Stu­di­os, at 2424 E. York St., will host a fam­ily-friendly Hal­loween party open to all on Hal­loween night from 6 to 9 p.m.. Come en­joy a free photo booth, candy, games and soc­cer. ••

Adaire’s ‘haunted halls’

Stop by Al­ex­an­der Adaire School on Hal­loween night from 5:30 to 7:30 for the school’s 4th an­nu­al “Haunted School” night. Tour the school’s haunted halls and en­joy mu­sic and snacks.

Cost is $3 per child, $5 per adult; funds go to 8th grade stu­dents’ gradu­ation fees and trip. ••
