A 38-year-old woman was assaulted sexually and robbed in a Somerton alley late Saturday, according to a report by television station 6abc.
The incident occurred just before midnight when the victim was walking near her home along the 10000 block Jeanes St. and a man ran up to her, pressed a sharp object against her neck and dragged her behind homes.

The attacker assaulted the woman sexually, grabbed her purse and ran, the station said, citing Philadelphia police sources.
The woman was treated at Episcopal Hospital.
Police have not released a description of the attacker. ••
