Pharmacy robber strikes again

A man who fits the description of the bandit who robbed more than a dozen Philadelphia-area drug stores got prescription drugs and cash from the Somerton Pharmacy on the 10800 block of Bustleton Ave. Thursday evening.


Father Judge student wins essay contest

Father Judge High School senior Alexander Citerone was honored on Oct. 21 as the winner of a student essay contest sponsored by the Northeast Philadelphia Hall of Fame. The contest asked students to write on the theme of “Uncovering Northeast Philly: What makes Northeast Philadelphia Special?”

The Hebrew School students at Congregations of Shaare Shamayim received a treat recently when an ark-full of live animals appeared at the Bustleton synagogue.
