Racer to the res­cue

Racer is an adult ter­ri­er mix who came as a stray to Phil­adelphia’s An­im­al Care and Con­trol, at 111 W. Hunt­ing Park Ave.

The dog is a su­per sweet, happy-go-lucky guy who gives a lot of kisses.

Racer is a very so­cial and play­ful pup with his hu­man friends.

His tag num­ber is A16043845.

Ad­op­tion hours are week­days from 1 to 8 p.m. and week­ends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••

Little Miss Mup­pet

Mup­pet is a sweet 1-year-old sil­ver Maine coon mix. She is in foster care via For­got­ten Cats.

The cat is su­per hug­gable and lov­able. She is healthy and gets along with oth­er kit­ties.

Mup­pet is spayed and vac­cin­ated, and has tested neg­at­ive for the fe­line leuk­emia and im­mun­ode­fi­ciency vir­uses.

It’s a very, very, very fine House

House is a 5-year-old cat with beau­ti­ful green eyes.

The cat, who is already neutered, is avail­able for ad­op­tion from the Wo­men’s Hu­mane So­ci­ety, at 3839 Rich­lieu Road. The tag num­ber is 1054.

Ad­op­tion hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tues­days, Thursdays, Fri­days and Sat­urdays and 1 to 7 p.m. on Wed­nes­days.

Buddy wants to come down to Earth

Buddy is a 3-year-old cat who was res­cued from a rooftop, scared and skinny.

The cat is really play­ful and gets along with oth­er kit­ties. He’d prob­ably do best in a home without young chil­dren.

Buddy is neutered and cur­rent on vac­cin­a­tions, and has tested neg­at­ive for the fe­line im­mun­ode­fi­ciency and leuk­emia vir­uses.
