Family hopes to up reward to solve teen’s slaying

The family and friends of murdered Oxford Circle teenager Ericka Brair will host a fund-raiser at St. Dominic’s Marian Hall, 8532 Frankford Ave., on March 23 to benefit the search for her killer.

Brair’s body was discovered on April 16, 2007, in a wooded area along the 2100 block of Kubach Road, just west of Roosevelt Boulevard and Woodhaven Road. She had been stabbed numerous times. Brair, 18, a Frankford High School student, was last seen by family on March 15, 2007, when she left home to meet up with friends.

The benefit will run from 8 p.m. to midnight. Tickets cost $25 in advance or $30 at the door and will include a buffet, beer, wine and soft drinks. There will be door prizes, drawings and an auction.
