Family hopes to up reward to solve teen's slaying


The fam­ily and friends of murdered Ox­ford Circle teen­ager Er­icka Brair will host a fund-raiser at St. Domin­ic’s Mari­an Hall, 8532 Frank­ford Ave., on March 23 to be­ne­fit the search for her killer.

Brair’s body was dis­covered on April 16, 2007, in a wooded area along the 2100 block of Kubach Road, just west of Roosevelt Boulevard and Wood­haven Road. She had been stabbed nu­mer­ous times. Brair, 18, a Frank­ford High School stu­dent, was last seen by fam­ily on March 15, 2007, when she left home to meet up with friends.

A $10,000 re­ward has been offered for in­form­a­tion lead­ing to the ar­rest of the killer. The vic­tim’s fam­ily hopes to in­crease the re­ward.

The be­ne­fit will run from 8 p.m. to mid­night. Tick­ets cost $25 in ad­vance or $30 at the door and will in­clude a buf­fet, beer, wine and soft drinks. There will be door prizes, draw­ings and an auc­tion.
