CVS robbery suspect on the loose

Phil­adelphia po­lice seek the pub­lic’s help in identi­fy­ing the sus­pect in a rob­bery of the CVS phar­macy at 4035 Tor­res­dale Ave. in Frank­ford on March 19.

Just be­fore 6:28 p.m., the sus­pect entered the busi­ness, ap­proached a cash­ier, ges­tured that he had a weapon un­der his sweat­shirt and de­man­ded money. The em­ploy­ee gave the rob­ber $80 cash. The sus­pect was last seen run­ning west on Wor­rell Street.

Po­lice de­scribe the rob­ber as a white male in his late 20s, mus­cu­lar, 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 9 inches tall, 150 to 175 pounds, with red hair and freckles around his nose. He wore a light blue hood­ie sweat­shirt with an Old Navy logo across the front in dark blue let­ter­ing. He also wore khaki pants and tan work boots.
